garden replaces the pile of separate apps you're stitching together (invoicing, scheduling, client records, HR and comms) with a single, self-hosted system your team actually wants to use. And Jen, your built-in AI assistant, helps triage the day so nothing falls through the cracks.
garden didn't start as a spec sheet. It started by sitting alongside a disability support worker and watching what their actual week looked like: a spreadsheet for budgets, a notes app for case notes, a group chat for the roster, and a folder of PDFs for agreements. None of it talked to each other, and all of it was on them.
Every module in garden exists because something in that workflow was broken, slow, or risky, and we built the fix with them, tested it against how they actually work, and kept going. It's still built that way: real feedback from real support work, not assumptions about what a support worker "probably" needs.
Shaped by real support work
Every feature traces back to a real task a real support worker needed done that week.
Still iterating alongside them
Changes get tried out in their day-to-day work before they're called done, not just reviewed in a design file.
Built for the work, not around it
garden fits how support work already happens, instead of asking support workers and clients to reshape their day around software.
Same data, different view. Everyone sees exactly what their role needs.
Jen: "You've got 3 sessions and a service agreement renewal today, capacity's looking tight. Want me to move Amara's admin task to tomorrow?"
Currently replacing: Xero / MYOB · Google Calendar · Dropbox · A spreadsheet of clients
NDIS details, funding budgets, appointments, documents and notes: no more hunting across five systems to answer one question about a client. This is the staff-side record.
Jen: Capacity Building spend is tracking 15% ahead of schedule, worth flagging at the next review.
A simple, no-login-required page shared with each participant: big text, plain language, high contrast. No account to create, no app to install, just a private link.

garden is self-hosted by design: your data never leaves infrastructure you control, and access is scoped tightly by role.
Self-hosted, not cloud-rented
garden runs on your own server or machine. There's no vendor holding your participants' data, and no surprise pricing tiers.
No third-party data sharing
No analytics trackers, no ad networks, no data brokers. The only outbound connection is optional email delivery you control.
Role-based access
Support workers see their shifts and notes. Office staff see billing and rosters. Nobody sees more than their permissions allow.
Full audit trail
Every record change is logged: who, what, when. Built for NDIS compliance and practice-standard audits from day one.
Jen lives inside garden and keeps an eye on the things that are easy to lose track of: who's overloaded, what's overdue, and what should actually happen next. She only acts on what you approve.
"How's your energy today?"
Low today, so Jen trims tomorrow's roster by one non-urgent visit.
Everything Jen suggests goes into a queue for a human to approve, edit or dismiss. She never sends, bills or reschedules anything on her own.
We're adding onboarding and ongoing training content directly into garden, so induction, compliance refreshers and skill sign-off live alongside the people and records they apply to, instead of yet another portal to log into.
